About Me

My name is Regina and I am a passionate baker. And pretty much always have been. I cannot even remember my first cake. It seems I have always been baking cakes at least every weekend, first with my mom and then by myself.

That hobby turned into a passion. Now, I didn’t want my cakes to taste good only but also look stunning. A feast for the palate and eyes!

Starting with introductory decorating classes at my local hobby craft store I began to learn about techniques, tools and materials for beautifying my cakes.

Another great place for learning is the internet. With a little research I found other cake decorators who graciously put out step-by-step tutorials in their blogs or post videos on youtube.

But nothing can replace practice, practice, practice. After doing lots of that I am here blogging about my cakes and hoping to pay it forward by also posting instructions and tutorials with my cakes.
