For a sunflower themed wedding I created this matching sunflower decorated cake and also cupcakes.
The cake flavor is lemon with vanilla pudding filling.
The wedding cake is covered in ivory fondant with a thin satin ribbon on the bottom. The sunflower centers are regular and mini Oreo cookies with buttercream piped petals and leaves. Sitting inside the sunflowers is a little m&m ladybug.
The mother of the groom send this lovely note after the wedding:
“….just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic job you did on the cakes and cupcakes! They looked wonderful and were delicious and made a very special day even more special! We will definately recommend you to any one in search of a great cake or cupcakes!
