Spring is here! – with a Strawberry Specialty Cake

While walking down the produce aisle of the supermarket I couldn’t withstand the sight of these fresh and juicy strawberries. So I decided it was time for the first fresh fruit cake of the year.
I baked a Victoria Sponge on which I spread some vanilla pudding filling after the cake cooled down. Then I added the strawberries on top and glazed them.

A delight for eye and mouth!
