Luca’s favorite toy is a Hot Wheels lobster car. For his 4th birthday his mom asked for a cake looking just like the lobster car.
From a vanilla bean cake with raspberry filling I carved the shape for the lobster car. It is iced with vanilla buttercream and covered in lobster red fondant. Black and silver fondant accents complete the design with the seat and engine.
The is a Hot Wheels logo cut out from fondant on the back of the car and the birthday boy’s name and age are placed in the front.
Luca absolutely loved his cake! He was vibrating with excitement and that was before he had a slice! Totally amazing! You are so talented and it was delicious! Thanks so much!
